Sono disponibili due semplici procedure per aggiornare il firmware del sistema Home Theatre Blu-ray disc/DVD.

1. Sony Home audio e video: download per firmware  

   Consigliamo questo metodo di aggiornamento perché è il più semplice. Richiede circa 15-30 minuti. Per prima cosa, preparare i dispositivi, quindi scaricare l'aggiornamento sul sistema Home Theatre Blu-ray disc/DVD tramite Internet.

   Requisiti:

   • un cavo Ethernet per collegare il sistema Home Theatre Blu-ray disc/DVD a Internet
   • una connessione Internet attiva
   • una TV compatibile

   Come essere sicuri che l'aggiornamento vada a buon fine

   L'aggiornamento è molto semplice. Seguire queste istruzioni per effettuarlo correttamente al primo tentativo:

   • Leggere attentamente le istruzioni per evitare danni al sistema Home Theatre Blu-ray disc/DVD.
   • Non spegnere il sistema Home Theatre Blu-ray disc/DVD, né scollegarlo dall'alimentazione, durante l'aggiornamento.
   • Non premere alcun pulsante, tranne quelli menzionati nelle istruzioni.

   Preparare i dispositivi:

   • Accendere la TV e assicurarsi che sia sintonizzata sull'ingresso al quale è collegato il sistema Home Theatre Blu-ray disc/DVD (se il lettore è collegato all'ingresso HDMI 2, scegliere HDMI 2 come ingresso).
   • Collegare il terminale della LAN, presente sul sistema Home Theatre Blu-ray disc/DVD, alla sorgente Internet utilizzando un cavo Ethernet.
   • Attivare il sistema Home Theatre Blu-ray disc/DVD. Espellere eventuali dischi inseriti nel lettore.
   • Premere ripetutamente il pulsante "FUNCTION" (Funzione) fino a quando la funzione "BD/DVD" viene visualizzata sul pannello anteriore. L'aggiornamento può essere eseguito solo quando la funzione "BD/DVD" è selezionata
   • Nella XrossMediaBar ^TM, selezionare Setup (Impostazioni) > System Settings (Impostazioni di sistema) usando le frecce del telecomando, quindi selezionare ENTER (Invio).
   • Selezionare "Quick Start Mode" (Modalità di avvio rapido) sul telecomando; impostare "Quick Start Mode" su "Off", altrimenti l'aggiornamento del firmware potrebbe non avvenire correttamente.

   Ottenere l'aggiornamento:

   • Nella XrossMediaBar ^TM, selezionare Setup (Impostazioni) > Network Update (Aggiornamento rete) usando le frecce del telecomando, quindi selezionare ENTER (Invio).
   • Sulla TV verrà visualizzato il messaggio Perform version update? (Eseguire l'aggiornamento della versione?).
   • Selezionare OK sul telecomando e premere ENTER (INVIO).
   • L'aggiornamento verrà avviato.
   • Durante l'aggiornamento, sul pannello anteriore viene visualizzato il messaggio UPDATING (Aggiornamento in corso).
   • L'aggiornamento è completato quando sul pannello anteriore viene visualizzato il messaggio COMPLETE (Completato). Il lettore si spegne automaticamente. Non usare o spegnere il sistema fino al termine dell'aggiornamento.
   • Avviare di nuovo il sistema.
   • Verificare la versione del firmware. Se il numero di versione è M12.R.0510, l'aggiornamento del firmware ha avuto esito positivo.

   Risoluzione dei problemi

   Cosa fare in caso di problemi durante l'aggiornamento del firmware del sistema Home Theatre Blu-ray disc/DVD tramite Internet.

   • "UPDATE" and "ERROR" are displayed alternately on the front panel display, and "Update failed" is displayed on the TV screen.
     
     Please check the following:
     1. Check that the router and all devices connected between the TV and the router are switched on.
     2. Verify that you are using the correct type of cable (straight or crossover) between the TV and the router.
     3. Check that all the cables between the TV and the router are correctly connected.
     4. Try the update again.Still not working? Please contact Sony Customer Support
        
        
     Using the remote control select "Retry"on the display and press Enter.
     If you cannot perform the network update, try the Disc Update procedure.
     
     
   • After the network update process has started, "1/9" is displayed in the lower right but the progress bar on the display has not changed.
     Depending on your network connection, the network upgrade process can take a long time ( up to 60 minutes). That is why "1/9" is displayed in the lower right and the progress bar on the display will not change for a long time.
     
     
   • The message "Connection status cannot be confirmed" shows on the TV.
     The problem might be with the network connection.
     1. Check the LAN cable is connected.
     2. In the network settings, check you have confirmed whether or not your Blu-ray Disc / DVD Home theatre system has its own IP address. (If you use a proxy server, type the IP address of the proxy you use - instead of the proxy host name - into the Proxy Server field.)
     3. Try the update again.
     
     
   • The power went off while the update was in progress.
     Turn the Blu-ray Disc/DVD Home Theatre System on and try the update again.
     
     
   • The update has been going for over 60 minutes and hasn't finished.
     If your system is connected via wireless to the network, please try to connect with a cable to the network and an try the procedure again.
     If the problem continues, the network transmission speed may be low. In that case please try to update your system following the disc procedure.
