Overview

XDCAM Drive Software is a basic utility application that enables reading from and writing to Professional Disc media when a computer is connected to a compatible XDCAM Professional Disc Drive Unit.
When this software is installed, the following operations can be performed:

• Displaying device and disc information
• Formatting discs
• Updating drive firmware
• Finalizing discs (Quad-Layer Write-Once (WO) discs when used with PDW-U2 or PDW-U4)
• Configuring option settings
