Hi,

I have Sony VAIO VPCF22M1E/B with Windows 7 Home Premium x64 HUN and I wanted to update the NVIDIA video driver to Graphics Driver Update (NVIDIA) - 8.17.12.6830 (EP0000249885.exe), but the extraction fails. :-(

By the way I downloaded the 3DMark 11 from http://www.3dmark.com/ and the benchmark result is very-very low for 3D.

Have you got any idea how to solve this issue?

It fails to install the driver through the Vaio Update...

Any idea? Pleeease....

In the meantime, have you tried manually downloading and installing this update from the Support Site for your model here: -
http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/downloads/updates/index.aspx?m=VPCF22M1E_B&l=en_GB

HI guys, I tried the same with no result. Finally I tried to install driver "275.33-notebook-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql" from nvidia website. Unfortunatelly, there is problem with HW compatibility.

I have reported this to Sony and they have advised a fix or replacemnt driver will be issued.

Ehh... I think I will sell this piece of sh*t and buy something else and never advise to buy anything from Sony...

There is a downloadable compatible graphics driver on the NVIDIA site:
