I don't think you can as there are no digital inputs on the receiver, so it might be time to upgrade.

Hi,

you would need to upgrade to an a/v reciever that has at least an optical connection then you can connect your tv to this using a digital optical lead for much greater sound.

well that would depend entirely on your budget but most of the latest Sony A/V recievers are excellent.
