Sorry if this has been covered but done search and couldnt see anything pertinent.  Having problems with sound when streaming TV.  Backgorund and special effect noise are really loud but dialogue is extremely faint and muted, as if listening through a wall!

Any ideas on sound level settings and how I set them.  I'm not real good on PC's so feel free to answer at dummy level please.

We have an all-in-one sony vaio VPCL13M1 about 9 months old.  Was OK initially but settings seem to be messed up now since installing skype.
