I think all you need is a cable with a 3.5mm plug at each end. You can get them in lots of places, even Poundland!

Put one end in the PC headphone/output socket and the other in the hi-fi audio input socket. Select Audio In and away you go. It's all in the user manual. If you haven't got one, it's available at http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/2899690141.pdf

My guess is that the USB port on the hifi is for a USB memory device. The USB turntable will be designed to provide input to a computer. You could try linking the turntable to a PC/laptop, then connecting the PC/laptop output (headphone socket) to the hi-fi line in and using whatever software came with the turntable to play the records.

Alternatively, get a second-hand hi-fi turntable from one of the auction websites.

From what you say all you have are the speakers.

You could use some form of amplifier that will connect to the output of the computer (usually through the headphone socket).

You will also need leads/adaptors for connecting the kit together.

Try a branch of Maplins or Richer Sounds.
